Terms of Service

Effective 2026-08-11

This page sets out the agreement for using Routibly. How we handle personal data is written separately in the Privacy Policy.

In short
  • No sign-up. You are identified only by an anonymous value created on your device.
  • Which means there is no account recovery — if you lose the device or delete the app, the records cannot be retrieved. Exporting a backup file is worth doing.
  • The basics are free. Routibly Plus is paid through the App Store or Google Play, and billing, cancellation, and refunds follow each store's rules.
  • You can take down anything you shared to Discover at any time. Three reports hide a post automatically and a person reviews it.

1. What these terms cover

They apply when you use the Routibly mobile app (iOS and Android) and the routibly.app website. The service is provided by 타입쓰리소프트 (Type3 Soft.).

What personal data we handle, and how to delete it, is set out in the Privacy Policy.

2. What the service is

An app for keeping routines and to-dos, leaving a line about how the day felt, and browsing presets and routines other people share. Most of it runs on your device; the server is only involved in what comes from outside — Discover, announcements, and the preset catalogue.

3. What “no account” means

There is no sign-up and no sign-in; you are identified only by an anonymous value created on your device. That keeps things light, but one consequence matters.

  • Your records live on the device, and there is no such thing as account recovery. If the device is lost, the app is deleted, or the device is reset, those records cannot be retrieved. We hold no copy, so we cannot restore them for you either.
  • Before changing devices — or just in case — export a backup file from the app and keep it somewhere safe. The file is locked with a passphrase you choose, and the app does not store that passphrase, so if you forget it we cannot open the file either.
  • Posts you shared to Discover are the exception: they live on the server, survive a reset, and can still be found and taken down in the app.

4. Free use and Routibly Plus

  • Keeping routines, to-dos, and reflections is free. We build so that using Routibly for free is not a compromise.
  • Plus is available as a monthly or yearly subscription, or as a one-time purchase. What it unlocks and what it costs are shown in the app, and the actual charge is in the currency of the store account's region.
  • Payment is handled by the App Store or Google Play. We never receive card numbers or other payment details.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the period ends. You cancel from the subscription settings of your store account, and after cancelling you keep access until the period you already paid for runs out.
  • Refunds follow each store's policy and process (ask Apple for App Store purchases, Google for Google Play). We cannot reverse a charge ourselves, but write to us and we will point you to the right place.
  • When access ends, the settings Plus had unlocked (themes, spoken reminders, alternate app icons) quietly return to their defaults. Nothing you recorded is deleted.

Payments are not yet connected in the app. This section applies once paid access opens; until then, no purchase takes place in the app.

5. Routines you share to Discover

  • Sharing happens only when you tap share. What goes up is the routine's name, its steps and times, the name you want shown, and an optional note. Evening reflections and one-line notes do not.
  • What you post remains yours. We use it only as far as needed to show it inside the service (the Discover pages in the app and on routibly.app). We do not sell it or pass it on.
  • If you tick “consider for an Editors' pick” when sharing, we may select that routine and publish it with photos and an editorial note in our magazine pages. It is off by default, and posts without consent are never featured. If you change your mind, take the post down.
  • You can delete the post from the app at any time, and it is removed from the server.
  • One device can share up to five posts a day, with limits of 12 characters for the display name, 500 for the note, 40 for the routine name, and 20 steps.

6. What not to do

  • Anything that infringes someone's rights (copyright, trademarks, likeness) or breaks the law
  • Harassment, defamation, or sexual or violent content
  • Advertising, promotion, spam, repeated posting, or links that pull people elsewhere (comments on the website cannot contain links)
  • Posting other people's personal information
  • Scraping the service automatically or otherwise interfering with normal operation

Such posts may be hidden or removed. Because there are no accounts, enforcement happens at the level of a post rather than a person.

7. Reports and moderation

  • Anyone can report a post in Discover. After three reports the post is hidden automatically, and a person reviews it before restoring or removing it.
  • Posts that break section 6 may be hidden or removed without prior notice.
  • Separately from reporting, you can hide a post so that only you stop seeing it.

8. Notifications

  • Routine reminders are scheduled on your device and follow the device's clock. Turning notifications off in the device or app settings stops them.
  • Announcement notifications are sent only while you have them switched on. Turning notifications off unregisters your device.
  • Notifications can be delayed or missed for reasons in the device or operating system. Please don't rely on them as the only way to keep an appointment that matters.

9. Changes and interruptions

  • We may add, change, or retire features. Significant changes are announced in the app or on this page beforehand.
  • Parts that need the server — Discover, announcements, the preset catalogue — may be briefly unavailable during maintenance or an outage. Your on-device records and running routines keep working regardless.
  • If the service were to shut down entirely, we would give at least 30 days' notice and explain how to export your records first.

10. Warranties and liability

  • The service is provided as it is. Using a routine does not guarantee any particular outcome.
  • The app is not a substitute for medical or mental-health advice. If something about your body or mind worries you, please talk to a professional.
  • We are liable for harm we cause, to the extent the law provides. We are not liable for things outside our control, such as records you delete yourself or a device you lose.

11. Minors

We do not ask your age, but paid access requires a guardian's consent. If a minor purchases without it, the minor or their guardian may cancel; the actual cancellation and refund follow the store's process.

12. If you got the app from the App Store

Apple requires the following to be stated.

  • These terms are an agreement between you and 타입쓰리소프트 (Type3 Soft.). Apple is not a party to them.
  • The app is licensed, not sold, to you for use on Apple devices you own or control, on the terms permitted by Apple's own Terms of Service, and the licence is non-transferable.
  • Maintenance and user support for the app are our responsibility; Apple has no obligation to provide them.
  • If the app fails to conform to any warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation.
  • Claims relating to the app — including product liability, failure to conform to legal requirements, and consumer protection — are handled by us.
  • If a third party claims the app infringes their intellectual property rights, we are responsible for the response.
  • You confirm that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo and are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
  • Contact for questions about the app is the email in section 15.
  • Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and have the right to enforce them against you.

13. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. We would rather resolve problems by talking; if court proceedings become necessary, they are brought before the court with jurisdiction under Korean civil procedure. Rights you have as a consumer under the mandatory law of the country you live in are unaffected.

14. Changes to these terms

If these terms change, the new version and its effective date are posted on this page, and significant changes are announced in the app. Continuing to use Routibly after that means accepting the new terms; if you would rather not, you can stop by deleting the app.

Effective date: 2026-08-11

The registration number and address are shown as filed in Korean, since that is the form in which they can be looked up.
